Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager at HOOKABA in Noida. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role (no team handling).

The E-commerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and others.

Daily responsibilities include:
Running marketing campaigns on e-commerce portals
Optimizing campaigns
Analyzing online sales data
Managing e-commerce platforms

Key Deliverables of the Role:
Work with e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Blinkit, etc.) and agencies/in-house teams to execute media plans.

Track ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) for media spends.

Manage Amazon Marketing Services (AMS):

DSP

Manage e-commerce merchandising.

Plan media campaigns.

Publish media performance reports across marketplaces.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Product Designer – Backpacks & Accessories who can design new products from concept to final production.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backpacks, bags, accessories, materials, trims, hardware and manufacturing, with the ability to convert ideas into commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backpacks, laptop bags, sling bags, pouches, travel bags and lifestyle accessories.
• Develop new product concepts based on market trends, customer needs and brand requirements.
• Create sketches, mood boards, product renders and detailed technical drawings.
• Prepare tech packs, specifications, measurements and construction details for manufacturers.
• Select and recommend fabrics, linings, foams, webbing, zippers, buckles, handles and other components.
• Work closely with sourcing, sampling and manufacturing teams to develop prototypes and samples.
• Review samples and make design, fit, functionality and construction improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors/factories to ensure the final product matches the approved design.
• Research competitor products, market trends, materials and new product opportunities.
• Work on product detailing, colour combinations, prints, branding and functional features.
• Take ownership of products from initial concept to production.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of bag and backpack construction.
• Good knowledge of fabrics, foam, webbing, zippers, buckles, hardware and trims.
• Ability to create professional tech packs and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of CAD/3D tools is an advantage.
• Strong sketching, visualization and product development skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and sampling processes.
• Strong eye for aesthetics, functionality and product details.
• Ability to work with vendors and production teams independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Accessory Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design or related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in backpack, bag, luggage, accessories or soft-goods product design.
• Freshers with a strong portfolio and hands-on knowledge of bag design may also be considered.

Portfolio is Important

Candidates must add in their resume, the link to portfolio showcasing backpack/bag/accessory designs, preferably including technical drawings, tech packs, prototypes or products that have gone into production.

About the role

Hookaba is looking for a hands-on IoT & Software Developer who is comfortable working at the intersection of hardware and software. You’ll design, build, and deploy connected devices and the software that powers them — from wiring up sensors on a Raspberry Pi to writing clean Python services and managing Linux-based systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prototyping, debugging on real hardware, and seeing their code run in the physical world.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IoT solutions using Raspberry Pi and other single-board computers or microcontrollers such as Arduino and ESP32.
• Write, test, and deploy Python applications and scripts for device control, data acquisition, automation, and local processing.
• Interface with sensors, actuators, and peripherals using GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, MQTT, HTTP/REST APIs, WebSockets, and related communication protocols.
• Set up, configure, and administer Linux environments including Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu/Debian, networking, systemd services, cron jobs, and shell scripts.
• Build dashboards or simple monitoring UIs using tools such as Grafana, Node-RED, or lightweight web frontends, and store sensor data in SQLite, MySQL/PostgreSQL, or time-series databases.
• Debug hardware-software integration issues with logs, multimeters, logic analyzers, circuit diagrams, datasheets, and careful test procedures.
• Document code, wiring diagrams, deployment procedures, and collaborate with hardware, product, and QA teams to move prototypes toward production.

Required skills & qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in IoT, embedded systems, or software development; strong academic, hobby, or personal projects count.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as RPi.GPIO, gpiozero, paho-mqtt, requests, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi: OS setup, GPIO programming, peripheral interfacing, SSH/headless operation, and device troubleshooting.
• Solid working knowledge of Linux command line, bash scripting, package management, networking basics, services, and scheduled tasks.
• Good understanding of electronics fundamentals: voltage, current, resistors, transistors, relays, sensors, power supply basics, and reading schematics.
• Familiarity with Git and the ability to troubleshoot across the full stack — from hardware wiring to application code.

Good to have

• Experience with ESP32/ESP8266, Arduino, STM32, C/C++ embedded programming, PCB tools such as KiCad/Eagle/EasyEDA, or cloud IoT platforms.
• Exposure to Docker on edge devices, Wi-Fi/BLE/LoRa/Zigbee/GSM modules, OTA updates, device fleet management, or edge AI with OpenCV/TensorFlow Lite.
• Frontend basics in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for building lightweight monitoring dashboards.
